Have you being watching the X Factor auditions? Do these people really think they have talent or are they just out for their five minutes of fame? (Or should that be shame). The audition rounds are the only ones I ever really bother watching because it always gets a bit too serious and boring after boot camp and the ones with the real talent always end up getting voted off first. Looks like I am not the only person that has been watching either because Virgin Bingo’s gone X-Factor crazy.

If you ever saw me you would know I like my food but my culinary expertise is limited to things I can boil in a bag and things that go beep to tell me they are ready; Because of this I am on first name terms with most of my local takeaways. Every now and then though I like to splash out and treat myself to a really nice meal out. Last week was a very sad week for me as it saw the death of two of my icons. Keith Floyd was always my favourite of the TV chefs, his no nonsense style in the kitchen combined with his enigmatic wine swigging character always kept me hooked to the screen. Then Patrick Swayze lost his long fight with cancer, this man was a true gent according to all reports as well as a superb actor. It may not be the most manly film but I am not ashamed to say I watched Dirty Dancing many times and always ended up singing along and let’s not forget he could also kick some ass as shown in Road House. Tonight is Patrick Swayze night at Foxy Bingo, a night dedicated to his memory filled with plenty of Patrick Swayze filled prizes.
