There are several sporting events that are so special you just know you cannot miss them. There is of course the Olympics, the World Cup, The FA cup and now the European Bingo Championships at Paddy Power Bingo. This is the second time this great event has being hosted at Paddy Power Bingo but this year they are taking things one step further with some amazing prizes up for grabs including ten European holidays and ten years worth of free bingo.

Qualifying for the European Bingo Championships at Paddy Power Bingo starts today in any of the bingo sites rooms. Win any game of bingo and you will be rewarded with points. Each Monday all of the points will be calculated and the ten players with the most points will have their names published in both the news and blog sections of the Paddy Power Bingo site. The number of points awarded is dependant upon the room you are playing in:

• Play in the Gold, Crystal and Sapphire Rooms and you will earn 1 point for a line, 2 points for two lines and 3 points for a full house.
• Play in the Silver, Diamond, Jade and Pearl Rooms and you will be rewarded 2 points for every win.

At the end of each week during the European Bingo Championships at Paddy Power Bingo the top ten players whose names are published will all qualify for the finale which will be taking place between 8pm and 9pm in the Ruby Room on the 4th July. The finale will consist of ten bingo games and the top twenty point scorers at the end of the hour will win these amazing prizes:

1st place – An awesome 5 star European trip of your own choice up to the value of £2,500
2nd place – A luxurious European trip of your own choosing up to the value of £1,500
3rd place – £1,000 to spend on any European holiday you choose
4th place – Head anywhere in Europe up to the value of £500
5th place – £500 to treat yourself to a European holiday of your choice
6th – 10th places – Marriott weekend breaks away in the UK and Ireland
11th – 20th places – Free bingo for a whole year (£30 in bonus money each month)
