Tomorrow night as I am sure you know is Bonfire night, a night traditionally in celebration on the evening of 5th November. It marks the downfall of the Gunpowder Plot in which a number of Catholic conspirators, including Guy Fawkes, attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament. These days however it is more associated with standing in a muddy field in the rain, eating cold hotdogs whist watching a bunch of expensive fireworks fail to go off.
