If like me you are a Tombola Bingo fan you have no doubt been following the making of the new Tombola Bingo TV advert both on their website and Youtube. Well now you can stop waiting because the finished forty second advert has now hit our screens but don’t worry if you have not being able to catch it during the ad breaks for Coronation Street, Emmerdale or The Bill because you can watch it below. The new advert feels like it is a cross between Love Boat and Fantasy Island and is fronted by a camp looking get in a pink frilly shirt welcoming to the new guests to the new tropical island with a wave and a “Ola Tombola”.

The new Tombola Bingo TV advert has a very expensive feel to it and sees the new arrivals transported to the Island on a luxurious speed boat before being transferred to a convoy of fun jeeps that weave around a jungle track visiting all of the games we know and love before arriving at the hotel just in time to see the island light up like Vegas in the distance. This is the first in a sequence of four new adverts with three new twenty second adverts continuing the guest’s story hitting our screens in September.

Whether these adverts will reach the heights of the bingo sites previous ad campaign I am not really sure as there is no catchy theme music to grab you and draw you in but Tombola Bingo had no real choice in adopting a different approach as their previous adverts were banned by an over cautious ASA. The success of this campaign will depend largely on how we see these new characters develop in the future adverts but I am sure Tombola Bingo know what they are doing after all you don’t get voted Britain’s favourite bingo destination by accident do you?
