Last week was a very sad week for me as it saw the death of two of my icons. Keith Floyd was always my favourite of the TV chefs, his no nonsense style in the kitchen combined with his enigmatic wine swigging character always kept me hooked to the screen. Then Patrick Swayze lost his long fight with cancer, this man was a true gent according to all reports as well as a superb actor. It may not be the most manly film but I am not ashamed to say I watched Dirty Dancing many times and always ended up singing along and let’s not forget he could also kick some ass as shown in Road House.
