Tombola Bingo has hit the bumpers
Anyone that reads this page knows that I am a huge fan of Tombola Bingo, I love their innovative games, the cartoon graphics and the large jackpots; they are quite simply my favourite online bingo site. Because of this I have been waiting with excitement for the launch of their sponsorship of Emmerdale but sadly Tombola Bingo has hit the bumpers and in my opinion they have missed a great opportunity to prove to the nation just how good they are.

Traditionally Tombola Bingo’s marketing has being spot on, their original television adverts were some of the most successful and memorable bingo adverts to date but sadly since these adverts were banned Tombola Bingo seem to have lost the way a little. Their latest television adverts are ok but nothing special and the new Emmerdale bumpers (the little segways before and after the show) are boring and do not do the site justice at all.
When Tombola Bingo put a call out to all of the bingo sites players to participate in these bumpers I was genuinely excited to see what they had planned for them but these bumpers are more likely to put potential players to sleep then inspire them to register. The bumpers are based around showing a Tombola Bingo player with a witty name or tagline under them followed by a group shot of players and staff that looks more like a Crime Watch line up.
Tombola Bingo should take a look at the Wink Bingo bumpers; they are fun, funky and memorable and actually tie in with the bingo site. A bumper only lasts a few seconds so needs to grab the viewer and stick in the mind which these may do but for all the wrong reasons!
On a plus note (I always like to end on a positive) Tombola Bingo is launching a brand new free game on the 1st December. These free games are always fun and give their players plenty of opportunities to win cash for free. I always like to have a guess at the sites new game so this time I am expecting a December special based around an advent calendar, I guess we will find out how right I am in a couple of weeks.
